Registrars

Registrars and other members of Registrar’s Offices play vital roles in strategic enrolment management at universities and colleges. These professionals ensure that an institution’s academic regulations are upheld, support current students as they complete their studies, and communicate admission requirements to prospective students.

The Atlantic Registrars’ Committee (ARC) is comprised the registrars and other senior administrators of AARAO member institutions. The committee is dedicated to being a place for discussion and professional development as committee members address the frequently changing post-secondary landscape within Canada.

If you or your institution is interested in being a part of ARC, please contact the ARC Chair for more information. If your institution is a member of AARAO, you can log in and access upcoming conferences and other professional development resources.

If you’re a counsellor, and you need to contact a Registrar, find contact information for the 2025-2026 season in the Guidance Counsellor Directory which is downloadable here.

Guidance Counsellors

We understand the pivotal role Guidance Counsellors play as educators in helping your students find their best post secondary fit. We also understand and appreciate how busy a guidance counsellor can be.

Counsellors play a pivotal role as educators by helping students find the best post-secondary fit based on their interests, goals, and academic history. AARAO works with counsellors to provide up-to-date information on its members, their programs, and the admissions process through the annual post-secondary fairs, access to the Guidance Counsellor directory each season and regular communications.

If you are a counsellor looking to connect with AARAO regarding the fair and other general information, please contact the Recruitment Outreach and Planning (ROPC) Chair.

For specific institution inquiries, please contact the institution directly.
